Do fans have to pay to watch ?

[Part of the design of MAYB events is that spectators have to pay a small entry cost. This cost helps us pay the cost of referees and facilities. You will receive an entry pass for your purchase of either a single day or weekend pass. Passes are good at all our facilities. Prices are set according to Mid America Youth Basketball standards.]

What kind of uniforms are required?

[MAYB recommends a reversible or home and away set. Your uniforms can be t-shirts but do need to have number on them. Most teams have regular style uniforms but you can have any style.]

Do you offer discounts?

[Mid America Youth Basketball offers summer event discounts for 4 or more events. For more information please visit MAYB's web site. For the first time play in 4 Southeast Youth Sports events and get that discount. ]

Are there amenities offered at your events?

[Yes, we offer concessions and sports apparel where possible. Some events have other things like video games, inflatable jumping areas for younger kids and siblings. ]

What are the rules regarding rosters ?

[Mid America Youth Basketball asks that you have your final roster in by the Friday of the event. We will ask that you check your roster when picking up passes. This is the final option to add or delete players from a roster.]

How do I challenge a players age ?

[You may do so only prior to tip-off of the game in question.]

Do you have air controlled facilities ?

[Yes, for our events in June and July we have rented facilities both in MO and KY that are climate controlled. So for those that played in KY in 2007, you are going to love this year.]

What type of passes are used ?

[Southeast Youth Sports use braclets. We use a nylon reusable bracelet for the weekend pass and a paper non reusable bracelet for day passes.

These are use so our patrons are paid admission are visible to our staff and so you do not have to search wallets and purses for business card passes]
